Specifically we will plan, develop and implement OHS&W to link with the company’s overall strategic planning processes, and:

Identify workplace hazards, assess the risks and implement and review control measures to provide optimum safety.
Ensure legislative compliance.
Provide relevant information, instruction, training and supervision to employees, contractors, visitors and clients, as appropriate.
Require that out employees and contractors comply with the occupational health and safety policies and practices of our clients, as advised to us.
Provide opportunity for genuine employee involvement and consultation on matters affecting their health and safety, rehabilitation and compensation.
Ensure procedures and processes are in place to minimize the impact of any work related incidents.

Occupational Health and Safety and Welfare activities will be regularly monitored and reviewed for effectiveness. Areas identified for improvements will be reflected in updated policies and programs with a review at least annually.

All employees and contractors are accountable for their own Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare including: following Occupational Health and Safety rules and reporting any hazards, incidents and injuries to the Director.

Everyone is expected to use their job skills and knowledge to improve Workplace Health Safety and Welfare and to support the rehabilitation of injured personnel.
